About me (Tiago)
Born on April 2, 1979, I was always very passionate about music, and at the age of 12, I finally got my first drum kit. My life has never been the same ever since. Without trying to sound too “corny”, music is indeed like oxygen to me. My whole life revolves around music. Other than that, I have a high interest in graphic design and computers, and I’m constantly in search of learning new things. I’m also an overthinker!
About SPITE VISION
The idea to start SPITE VISION came from my constant frustration of seeing individuals and companies create products/services that have so much potential, me sending them emails with suggestions to improve those same products/services, and 99.9% of the time, nothing really changes.
When I say that these products and services have so much potential, I’m not talking about startups or anything like that; even huge companies such as Apple, Spotify, etc, are on that list. Sure, they are very well established, but sometimes it’s frustrating to me when I notice things that make absolutely no sense, especially with companies as big as them.
Equipped with my knowledge of coding, graphic design, UI/UX, marketing, etc., and now with tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, I decided to explore ideas for my own products. These are, of course, just little experiments for now, because coming up with more sophisticated products requires experts in each field, but I will be doing what I can until I can finally gather that team. One step at a time.
Why SPITE VISION?
The name SPITE came from a “Curb Your Enthusiasm” episode called “The Spite Store” where Larry David gets banned from the Mocha Joe store and decides to open a spite store right next to it: a store exactly like Mocha Joe, but better.
The added word VISION was added to give the company a more clear meaning of what the goals are. Obviously, the goal is not just to start a “spite company,” but instead to bring to life ideas focused on better products. The VISION of innovation, quality, and more importantly, value brought to the user.
